Shipping, Exchanges & Returns

At Monroe & Kent, our team works hard to make sure that we deliver your order promptly, and in excellent condition. The following information is designed to guide you on when to expect an order to be delivered and the terms and conditions that govern the order.

Currently, we ship home decor products (pillows, rugs, accessories, pictures) to all 50 States in the United States. Furniture can only be shipped to customers who reside in the 48 contiguous States which excludes Alaska and Hawaii. Orders for furniture with a Shipping address in Alaska and Hawaii will be canceled and money refunded back to the method of payment used.

Shipping & Delivery Information - Furniture

Orders for stocked furniture (meaning that we carry it in our warehouse) ship within 3-4 business days from the date of order. Business days do not include weekends or public holidays. We clearly advertise on the product page on our website the anticipated shipping time frame for your reference. Furniture orders that ship within 3-4 business days typically deliver within 1-2 weeks depending on where you are located in the United States.

For custom orders, these typically ship within 45-60 days from the date of order and are delivered within 1-2 weeks. When placing a custom order, a member of our concierge team will contact you within 24 hours of your order (excluding weekends and holidays), to finalize details and provide an estimated delivery date.

For furniture orders, there is a flat fee of $99 for unlimited furniture delivery. For orders that are over $10,000, the delivery fee is waived.

Furniture is delivered by a local freight company and includes the unpacking, simple set up and removal of packing materials. As your order prepares to ship, a member of the Monroe & Kent team will contact you to coordinate a convenient date and time frame for delivery. Typically you will hear from us within 24 hours, but no more than 48 hours, excluding weekends and holidays. Orders can be held at our warehouse up to 30 days without additional charge to accommodate situations like moving into a new home.

Shipping & Delivery Information - Home Decor

Orders for home decor products which includes, but is not limited to - decorative pillows, rugs, accessories, lighting, pictures, linens, and flatware will usually ship within 3-4 business days. We clearly advertise on the product page on our website the anticipated shipping time for these items.

Once shipped these items are delivered within 6 business days. Dependent on the combination of products ordered, your order may ship as one or multiple packages and may ship via one or more delivery services.

You will be notified via email when your Home Decor order ships and will be provided with a tracking number for the delivery service. We currently use UPS, USPS, FedEx, and DHL to deliver Home Decor items.

Receipt of a tracking number does not mean that the delivery service has started to process the package for delivery to you, therefore please allow up to 24 hours from receipt of a tracking number for it to start updating.

Our standard shipping fee is $99. If your order totals $10,000 or more, shipping is free.

Acceptance of a Delivery - Furniture

When receiving a furniture delivery, please fully inspect the shipping packaging for any damage. Damage to shipping packaging does not mean that the merchandise itself will be damaged. Please ensure that you note any shipping packaging damage on the delivery form before accepting delivery.

Product Availability

At Monroe & Kent, we make every effort to ensure that the latest inventory and availability information is displayed on our online store when placing an order. Where an issue arises with product availability that will impact delivery to you, we will contact you within 24 hours (excluding weekends and holidays) and provide you with an estimated delivery date and the option to cancel your order without penalty and to receive a full refund.

Returns & Our Love It or Return It ™ Guarantee

We want you to be happy with your purchase, that's why Monroe & Kent offers a 30-Day Love It or Return It ™ Guarantee. If within 30-Days of receipt of your order you wish to return it, we will be happy to accept a return. There are however some points that we need to make you aware of:

We do not accept custom orders or monogrammed products back. They are excluded from our 30-Day Love It or Return It ™ Guarantee. We will, however, accept the items back if they are delivered damaged or defective.

Return of Home Decor items - you are welcome to use the return shipping label provided or to ship back via your own method. Please note that if you use our return shipping label, the return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund. We will also deduct the shipping fee incurred for sending your order. This is irrespective of whether you paid for shipping because the order value was less than $10,000 or if the order shipped free. Home Decor items will not incur a restocking fee.

Return of Furniture items - you are welcome to make arrangements to return your furniture order to our nearest warehouse facility, however, given the size and weight of most items, we recommend that we coordinate the collection of an order that you would like to return. If you make arrangements for the return of your furniture order, we will deduct from your refund only the cost of the original shipping fee.

To request a Return Authorization (RA) number, please call us at (609) 949-1616 or email [email protected]. Please allow 48 hours (excluding weekends and holidays) for us to process the RA and provide instructions on where to return a Home Decor order or to coordinate the collection of a Furniture order.

Defective/Damaged Merchandise
